One of my goals is to have a model of each type of diesel locomotive that Monon operated from 1942 until the company merged into the Louisville & Nashville Railroad in 1971. So far, I’ve managed to acquire most of them, but one that has remained elusive is the ALCO Century 420 … until now.
Recent Train Acquisitions
I recently got a bonus at work, and decided to use a bit of it to buy some trains. I recently saw some locomotives from MTH and Lionel end up on eBay, being sold by someone here in the Indianapolis area. Turns out, they were being sold by a train shop I’ve never visited called A-Trains down on Main Street in Greenwood.

Fixing File Sharing Following macOS Ventura 13.2 Upgrade
Here at home, I have a Mac mini (2018) running as a file server for the home network. After I upgraded to macOS Ventura 13.2 earlier this week, I realized that I could no longer connect to the file shares on the Mac mini from anywhere. Time Machine didn’t work either.
